The WindInspire meeting was this week! So I presented my poster and spent some time with my current and former advisors. Here are some pictures and the poster!
Very interesting. Are you using ambient data from a specific part of the world or is it experimental data? Will you continue on the research or it was just for the summer? J. Gonzalez
This part still has no experimental data. It is only the implementation of the turbine model within our CFD code. I have performed other studies with another code, which compare the model against empirical data and it performs really well, both in wind tunnel experiments and in atmospheric turbulence.
This is part of my PhD research so I will still work on it for a couple of years!
